Our first custom header. As we design this header, you will learn to use the graphics design software and understand how you can change this design for your own "custom header"

We will now design a smaller custom header. These are more like logos and have fewer graphics. They must be crisp and clear and easy to see and read.

We will now concentrate on creating exciting shapes by converting text to graphic images. These shapes will add visual impact to a fairly dull header.
	Creating Exciting Shapes to Use for Headers - (12:31) - We concentrate on taking a font and converting it to an image so it can be manipulated. Also, you become familiar with the shape tools.

A dingbat is actually a font. However, the letters of the alphabet are exchanged for pictures. So, if you press letter "A" on your keyboard, you will see a train engine or a sun. Pressing "B" gives you a different icon. These dingbats are all adjustable and really work nicely into designing small headers.
	Let's Install Our New Dingbats - (5:08) - Don't panic. These dingbats were provided in your lesson download. This is a step by step guide to installing your dingbats. It's really easy.
	Creating a Dingbat Header - (9:26) - After we've printed out our dingbat pictures, we now design a small header using two dingbats and a simple font.

Once you have a great looking and exciting store header, you may want to add an area on your store home page that let's you put your best selling categories there.
